Certified Hereford Beef®
Rancher-Owners are Highly Vested in the Brand and Product Quality

More than 8,500 Local Families are Raising Certified Hereford Beef®
Knowing the producers of your food gives you trust in the food you serve. Certified Hereford Beef® is proudly owned by more than 8,500 local ranching families across 48 US states.
Most are multi-generational, like the Hunt family, who operates Innisfail Farm in Madison, Georgia.
The Hunt Family
The Hunt family has called their land in Georgia “home” for seven generations. They bought their first Herefords in the seventies and have been focused on producing second-to-none beef quality ever since. For decades, they have been intent on breeding the finest animals—selecting for strong genetics, improving their herd year after year. Their cattle deliver the marbling strands and bold flavor that Certified Hereford Beef is known for.
The Hunt family is staunchly committed to taking the very best care of the animals and land they steward. Blending science with passion, they meticulously measure feed efficiency–saving precious water resources–and they work to eradicate invasive plant species and regenerate farmland. They installed a solar-powered well to conserve energy and continuously recycle poor-quality protein by-products, converting them into nutrient-rich cattle feed.
“My dad has spent a lifetime setting me up to carry on the best cattle raising practices,” said Weyman Hunt, “while giving me the rope to do new, different things that will enable us to continue to bring the very best beef to the marketplace.”

Certified Hereford Beef Means Uncompromising Quality
Raising Certified Hereford Beef is not just what the Hunt family does for a living — it’s a lifestyle that exemplifies their family values: building upon a legacy of hard work, integrity, and excellence.
Certified Hereford Beef rancher-owners are highly vested in their local communities. They are committed to best practices for Hereford breeding, raising standards, sustainability, and meat quality. And they are committed to helping our partners succeed.
