Since its founding in 1995 by a passionate group of Hereford producers, this brand has remained unique as the only Hereford beef label owned by an alliance of local farm and ranch families.

Leading this organization is Ernie Davis, our Chief Executive Officer, whose vision and passion for quality drive the team forward. The American Hereford Association is the second largest beef breed association in the U.S., proudly representing over 8,500 active adult and junior members. As a not-for-profit organization, it is dedicated to serving the Hereford ranching community to ensure a viable, profitable, and sustainable livelihood.
The Association focuses on enriching the lives of its members by offering educational programs and services, investing in research and innovation to improve the industry, and promoting the Hereford breed.
