4 pound Certified Hereford Beef Chuck Roast
1/2 cup butter
1 package au jus gravy mix
1 package ranch dressing mix
Pepperoncini Peppers, to taste
Optional:
Carrots
Celery
Potatoes
Place the roast in the slow cooker. Place butter, pepperoncini peppers, ranch dressing mix and au jus mix on top of the roast. Cook on low for 8 hours.
This is the classic pot roast, becoming moist and tender when braised and full of rich, beef flavor.
